Boite World Music Cafe – INDEX PAGE
Boite World Music Cafe … commonly known as The Boite has been an active venue for World Music events since 1989.
As the number of Boite performances already on this site is beginning to become problematic in the top menu … this page is now functioning as an INDEX PAGE. This will allow any number of performances to be presented without overloading the top menu. There are quite a few still to be prepared & uploaded … some recent & others dating back quite a few years.

Matsudo Week
Every year Box Hill Community Arts Centre celebrates it’s sister city relationship with Matsudo. The story began in the 60’s when the Australian Ambassador gifted Matsudo 100,000 Eucalyptus in answer to a request from a Japanese student. This began a chain of events that led to the Matsudo – Box Hill sister city relationship that formed in 1971.
For past nine years Anne Norman has produced a series of fabulous concerts for Matsudo Week. These are musically adventurous, visually stunning and always include theatrical surprises.
Presented by The Boite & supported by the Whitehorse City Council.
